Yep it's been a while

Well I haven't blogged in years but I have been knitting like crazy and working in the shop.   But it's that time of year over at PTI and the Christmas stuff just rocks so of course I had to play along.   It is a color challenge and here it the one I chose.



How could I not choose this one that is knit.   I need to knit this hat for Summer.

Anyway the colors worked up great into this fun gift card holder.   All PTI  including most of the paper.  Thanks for stopping by.

It's been to long since I joined in the fun!

It's the 25th and it has been months since I joined in the fun with Papertrey Ink and the blog hop.   I love the photo that was published for inspiration.   How could I pass up this.






Lace, colors that love working with, buttons, banner and flower.   All yummy.   So here is my take.  Lots of PTI goodness here.

Bring on the Gloss and Shine PTI blog hop

The PTI blog hop challenge this month is all about the gloss and shine.   Make it glossy, shiny and more.


This challenge was a bit much for me and yet I do own embossing powder and a heat gun so it shouldn't be that hard.   It was still tough but here is my jumbo birthday tag which I know I can put to good use.   I "high glossed" the balloons.   As usual the stamps, ink and die cuts come from PTI.

It's MIM over at PTI

Love me a flat card but a flat card that has a look of dimension is even better.   The Make it Monday is just that.   Use loads of color, make it flat, and layer up the colors.   Here is my take with PTI stamps and inks.

A Perfect Spring Day

It's the PTI challenge day and I made a few spring cards but this is one that I made last night.   Now normally it is bright and sunny here and I have seeds in the ground but today is a perfectly gray day so my photos are great but my card is "spring like" which is what the challenge was all about.   The bunnies, clouds, flowers, sentiment, and heart dies are all PTI.  The inspiration and my card:

Today's challenge was to use a big word.   I love this Bo Bunny paper and wanted to play with it.   So here is my take on the challenge today.   Happy to know you PTI.

Another PTI Challenge and this one is scrapbook related

Make a ATC card.   Wow it has been such a long time since I have done that.   But Papertrey Ink showed how great they look in the new project life style scrapbook.   Add on there a swap of ATC cards and I was game.   I wanted something that was pretty general and here is what I came up with.  Again that fishtail tag is on this project.   It is my go to die.  The lucky is also a PTI die.

Playing along with the PTI Challenge

Happy 7th Papertrey Ink.   Sure do love your products and the anniversary celebration.   This year Nicole is offering up free downloads each month and so I did download.   Just need a 3 ring binder now as there were 5 pages with 8 different color combos and 7 sketches for your card making.   Here is the first card I made for the challenge.   I have two more and will do more posts soon.

Of course you need to use PTI product so I used PTI inks, dies and stamps for the flowers and the sentiment.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh feeling Pink? PTI Challenge

Usually I don't use pink a lot in my card making and scrapping but I do love pink.    Let just face it I love color.   So when the PTI challenge was announced for this month I was on board.   The challenge use pink with just a few neutrals if you must.   A great excuse to make a Valentine or a Wedding card.   Here is the inspiration photo:

Been away for to long!!! MIM Papertrey ink

It has been way to long since I have played along with the MIM Papertrey Ink challenge so it was fun to get back to it this year.   The challenge was a "angle" challenge and though I found the card not as cute as I wanted I loved the technique.   I did another angle card but it is a diagonal card instead and I really like it.  

I am having a great time with my Valentine stamps and die cuts.   Thanks for stopping by.
