PTI and watercolor

This mornings post brought back sweet memories as my mother was an artist who loved to water color. To keep me out of her paints I had my own set. She loved to paint me I like to make messes. So I stamped the peonies and the went in and water colored in some shades. I am very happy with the results.

Bakers Twine the perfect tag attacher

Yes I know that attacher isn't a real word but it works here.   I love how easy bakers twine threads through the hole of a tag.   I love tiny tags too.   Here it is hard at work.

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop April Teal, blues, and pinks

Here is the inspiration photo:

Taking care of several things at once.  First this is Papertrey Ink's blog hop challenge.   The challenge was to use some beautiful bolts of fabric in teals, sky blues, several pinks as inspiration.   One of the fabrics was a polka dot too.   This is my take on the challenge using several of their products along with bakers twine.  Papertrey ink items the two border die cuts, the flower die cut, the Happy Day label and die cut and last the little heart is one of their die cuts too.   The bit of bakers twine and seam binding is from my shop.

Every Mother needs a heart felt card this day along with something sweet written inside.  So lets tie up something for Mom coming soon.

Party, Party, Party! All wrapped up with twine

It's a busy weekend for me.   I helped out with a beautiful wedding reception complete with nacho bar and dancing.   The couple was stunning in  red, black and white.   Best wishes Marcus and Pearla.  This morning I am dropping off a veggie tray and staying for a baby shower for a friends daughter.   She is having a girl.   Wouldn't this be a cute garland to put up at a baby shower.   Imagine it up above the door as you come in.   Draped at the food table.   Above the windows in the main room.   So many possibilities and all of it strung up on bakers twine.
